Sharyn McCrumb – New York Times Bestselling Author

Sharon will be talking about her newest book The Unquiet Grave  as part of our Friend’s 40th Anniversary Celebration.

Sharyn McCrumb is best known for her Appalachian “Ballad” novels, including the New York Times best sellers The Ballad of Tom Dooley, The Ballad of Frankie Silver, and Ghost Riders, which won the Wilma Dykeman Award for Literature from the East Tennessee Historical Society and the national Audie Award for Best Recorded Book. Her current novels are Prayers the Devil Answers, the story of the last public hanging ever carried out in the United States, and The Unquiet Grave, the story of West Virginia’s Greenbrier Ghost. Visit Sharon’s website to find out more.

All concerts or programs are held in the Bedford Room of the Bedford Public Library.  The door to the Bedford Room is next to the loading dock behind the library by  the parking lot.   We now offer advanced ticket sales for all of our concerts.  You may purchase tickets directly from Lynchburg Tickets.  Advanced purchase of  a tickets guarantees a seat.  If you want good seats, come early.  The doors open at 7 pm. Our capacity is only 100.  All concerts are $15 at the door.  The space is wonderfully intimate; handicapped accessible and an ideal place to experience quality live music.  Come join us and spread the word!
