Book Donations
As always the Friends welcome your donations of books for our On-Going and our three times a year Book Sales. Book donations are the life blood of our fund-raising efforts. We accept clean books in good condition from the public year round. Current fiction, cook-books, children's books, commercially produced DVD's and paper backs are especially needed. Please no donations of National Geographic, Reader's Digest Condensed Books or any textbooks.
Books are accepted year round and can be brought to either the circulation desk or if multiple boxes are being delivered please bring to the loading dock and ring the doorbell during library hours.

Book Purchases
Books can be purchased at very reasonable rates
( from $.25 to a few dollars) from our on-going Book Sale on the Book Racks just inside the library doors at Central or at our twice a year Book Sales held in the Spring and the Fall. Some of the book donations from the public are placed in the permanent collection of the Library.
We have three major book sales a year. They are held in the balcony area in Bedford Central Library in front of the Tharp Room.
